  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Please note that registration is a firm commitment to attend a class/event.*

    NO CANCELLATION OR CLASS CHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED IF MADE WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE DATE OF THE CLASS.

    When canceling seat(s) 7 days or morebefore the class date your on-lineaccount with The Curious Kitchen will be credited for future reservation(s). You can do this by signing into your account with The Curious Kitchen.

    NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD.

    Please do not ask us to make exceptions, as the instructor and our staff have already begun preparations and purchased the ingredients.In many cases, we have refused someone a seat because it was reserved for you. Transfers, Cancellations or any changes require at least ONE WEEK notice.

    * If a cooking class does not meet the minimum requirement, the class will be rescheduled. This decision will be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the class. All registered participants will be notified via email and/or phone call about the rescheduling at least 24 hours prior to the original class date.

    In exceptional circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions or unforeseen emergencies, The Curious Kitchen reserves the right to reschedule a class even if the minimum attendance requirement is met. Participants will be notified as soon as possible.

     

     

  • Is it safe to use my credit card online?

    Online payment via credit card is secure, fast, easy and will guarantee that your registration is processed immediately.  We do not save the credit card number.  The only data we save is the credit card’s last 4 numbers and the transaction ID provided to us by our credit card processor.  This information allows us to be able to credit you, the customer, should we need to do so.  It also allows you, the customer, to place another order without having to enter your full credit card number.  All you need to do is enter your CVV.

    Our partner PayPal has no unencrypted endpoints. This means that ALL transactions processed MUST have been initiated over a secure connection. So that is your guarantee that credit card data is NEVER transmitted in the clear. It is ALWAYS encrypted by virtue of the fact that PayPal has no unencrypted endpoints.

  • What are the ages for your kids classes?

    Our kids classes are for ages 6 to 15. Kids 16 and older are welcome to come to any of our classes, except for Date Nights. Family classes are for all ages. Be sure to check our class calendar for upcoming classes and to sign up.

    Reservations must be made online to secure your space.

  • How does the wait list work?

    If a class is sold out, you can add your name to the wait list, you will not be charged. If a seat becomes available, you will be notified via email and have the option to register at that time.

  • Do you offer private classes and events?

    Yes, we do. Please give our office a call at (615) 956-6077 for details.

  • Can we bring wine or other alcohol?

    YES, please do. We'll provide the glasses and the opener!

  • How can I cancel/change a class if I am within your cancellation policy?

    1) Sign into your on-line account and click on “My Classes”  

    2) Find the class you are canceling and click "Change”   

    3) Click on the box in front of the registered name.

    4) Click on the appropriated choice

    When you finish, your account will show an account credit. Refunds are given only as class credit. For your next purchase, the shopping cart will NOT automatically apply the credit and deduct the cost of your purchase from your account credit before it charges your credit card.  YOU MUST CLICK ON THE BUTTON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAGE “APPLY ACCOUNT CREDIT”.

    Our online system allows us to accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover.
