Join us at The Curious Kitchen for a fun-filled Spring Break Jr. Chef Baking Camp!

  • When:March 25th - March 29th, Monday to Friday, 10am-1pm
  • Ages:6 to 15
  • Cost: $300/child

Our camp combines culinary creativity with hands-on learning. Your child will explore knife skills, recipe reading, measuring, and maintaining a clean kitchen station. Each day includes interactive cooking and baking, followed by a shared meal. We happily accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions. Let us know your child's needs.

KIDS' SPRING BREAK BAKING CAMP

Day 1 - COOKIE MADNESS
  • Double Chocolate Chip Cookies: Young bakers will also prepare double chocolate chip cookies, perfecting their cookie-making skills.
  • White Chocolate Cherry Cookies: A delightful dessert featuring white chocolate and cherries, showcasing the art of baking and flavor pairing.
  • Jelly Fold Overs: Young bakers will embark on a sweet journey, creating jelly-filled fold overs, exploring the art of folding and baking.
  • Cheesy Flatbread Pizzas: For a savory twist, young chefs will craft cheesy flatbread pizzas, allowing them to unleash their creativity and explore the world of pizza making.
  • Italian Sodas: To quench their thirst and add a touch of Italian flair, they'll create their Italian sodas, full of fruity and refreshing flavors.

Day 2 - CRAZY FOR CUPCAKES
  • Lemon Cupcakes with Lemon Curd Filling: Young bakers will whip up zesty lemon cupcakes with a luscious lemon curd filling, perfecting the art of cupcakes.
  • Cookies & Cream Cupcakes with Chocolate Frosting: A sweet treat for cookie lovers, young chefs will create cookies & cream cupcakes with a decadent chocolate frosting.
  • Carrot Cake Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting: Young bakers will also prepare moist carrot cake cupcakes topped with classic cream cheese frosting.
  • Cinnamon Horchata: A refreshing and cinnamon-infused horchata beverage to sip while they work on their cupcakes.
  • Cheesy Mexican Casserole: For a savory twist, young chefs will craft a cheesy Mexican casserole, learning to create a flavorful and comforting dish.

Day 3 - PASTRY DELIGHTS
  • Cinnamon Rolls: Young bakers will craft warm and aromatic cinnamon rolls, learning the art of working with sweet dough and flavorful cinnamon filling.
  • Donut Holes with Chocolate Sauce: A fun twist on traditional donuts, young chefs will create delectable donut holes and serve them with a rich chocolate sauce for dipping.
  • Assorted Fruit Tarts with Puff Pastry: Young pastry enthusiasts will prepare a variety of fruit tarts featuring crisp puff pastry and fresh, colorful fruit toppings.
  • Chocolate or Vanilla Milkshakes: To complement the pastries, they'll blend their own chocolate or vanilla milkshakes for a creamy and cool treat.
  • Mini Cheeseburger Sliders with Fixings: A savory addition to the day's menu, young chefs will create their mini cheeseburger sliders, complete with all the fixings for a delicious and hands-on burger experience.

Day 4 - PIE PERFECTION
  • Strawberry Hand Pie: Young bakers will create delightful strawberry hand pies, learning the art of pastry and sweet fillings.
  • Chocolate Pudding Pie: A rich and creamy chocolate pudding pie, perfect for chocolate lovers and budding bakers to assemble.
  • Banana Cream Pie: Young chefs will whip up a luscious banana cream pie, mastering the art of creating a velvety, banana-infused filling.
  • Fruit Tea: A refreshing and fruity tea to sip on while they craft their delicious pies.
  • Baked Creamy Chicken Pot Pie: In this savory addition to the day's menu, young chefs will prepare a baked, creamy chicken pot pie, exploring both sweet and savory pie-making skills.

KIDS' SPRING BREAK BAKING CAMP

Day 5 - BAKE A CAKE... Everyone will be taking their own cake home!
  • Chocolate & Vanilla Marble Cake: Young bakers will create a stunning and delicious chocolate and vanilla marble cake. They'll learn the art of marbling and frosting, resulting in a cake they can proudly take home.
  • Strawberry Lemonade: A refreshing and zesty strawberry lemonade to quench their thirst as they work on their culinary creations.
  • Pigs in a Blanket: Young chefs will master the art of wrapping mini sausages in flaky pastry, creating the beloved "Pigs in a Blanket." It's a fun and hands-on experience.
  • Crispy Baked Potato Wedges: While the cakes are baking, young chefs will prepare crispy baked potato wedges. It's a savory delight to complement the sweet treats.
  • Chocolate Chip Cookies: To end the day on a sweet note, they'll also bake their own batch of chocolate chip cookies, indulging in a warm and gooey dessert.
